Once in a young lifetime one should be allowed to have as much sweetness as one can possibly want and hold.

SO LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED, ALREADY!!!!!
Liquor cabinet is empty.
Therapist is pricy.
Let's do this.
This is an excerpt from some pages written moments ago. For some reason, I share with you...whoever you are.
I QUESTION IT.
IS IT REALLY THE SIMPLEST THING?
SURELY THERE IS ANOTHER ROUTE...
OH YEAH - LOSING SLEEP, FRETTING OVER USELESS ANXIETY - STUCK IN THE NON-EXISTENT FUTURE, NEVER ONCE DARING TO TAKE A STEP FORWARD IN THE PRESENT.
WHY LET THE FEAR DRIVE?
WHY LET THE SABOTEUR DRIVE THE BUS?
IT'S TIME TO GET THEIR LICENSE REVOKED.
TIME TO CALL THE POLICE?
MAYBE.
MAYBE. I HAVE A BADGE TO EXPOSE.
MAYBE I AM THE COP.
MAYBE I HAVE THE AUTHORITY.
MAYBE THIS HIGHWAY HAS A REST STOP I CAN CHILL OUT IN FOR A BIT - REGAIN MY CONSCIOUSNESS.
MAYBE THERE'S A HOT DOG STAND - I AM FEELING A BIT HUNGRY..
A BEER CAN'T HURT..
THIS IS NOT A FORM OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
I AM THE DRIVER.
I AM THE DRIVER.
I AM DRIVEN.
AT FIRST, SHE WAS HARD TO CONTROL - SHE LEFT ME IN A STATE OF FEAR.
HOW DO I CONTROL HER? I CAN'T LET HER CONTROL ME,
I CAN'T SHOW HER THE FEAR.
I TOOK MY TIME.
EASED IN.
SHIFTING INTO FIRST WAS SIMPLE.
SECOND ALWAYS THREW ME.
AT FIRST WE WERE VASTLY INEFFICIENT.
BUT WE WERE THRILLING -
FUCKING ADVENTUROUS.
WE DAZZLED SOME, LEFT OTHERS JEALOUS.
WE DIDN'T CARE.
WE WERE ON THE ROAD 'CUZ WE LOVED TO DRIVE.
I LOVE TO DRIVE.
THE ROAD OF LIFE HAS NO MAP.
BUT IT'S OK. THERE IS ALWAYS AAA®.
“I beg you to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves...Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now...the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now.”
—Rainer Maria Rilke (1875-1926), excerpt from Letters to a Young Poet
I know the price of success: dedication, hard work, and an unremitting devotion to the things you want to see happen.
— Frank Lloyd Wright
Staring at a blank tv is not nearly as exciting as staring at a tv displaying colorful pictures with sound.
-note to self-
Without
leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of
possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.
— Gloria Steinem
Wine should be taken in small doses; knowledge in large ones.

Design is not for philosophy — it's for life.
